Our Story

About Grace

Grace is 21 years old and has Down Syndrome – an extra copy of Chromosome 21, which we think makes her extra amazing. After several requests to get a job, Grace and her mom put their heads together and came up with the idea to make gnomes! Making gnomes keeps Grace busy, helps her use her skills, allows her to donate to charitable causes, and gives her a purpose.

When she’s not busy making gnomes, she enjoys spending time with her family which includes her parents, siblings and niece. She also enjoys playing basketball with her special olympics team, cooking, watching her favorite shows, painting, and doing word searches. Her favorite thing to do is go to concerts.
Grace’s favorite TV show is Chicago Fire and her favorite gnome to make is the firefighter gnome. Grace really has a soft spot for firefighters.

Grace loves to create, make people happy, and give back.
